The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, PSC(+), NPM, has officially unveiled the maiden edition of the POCACOV Digest Magazine, a flagship publication designed to showcase the achievements, impact, and nationwide activities of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV).

The unveiling marks another significant step in the Nigeria Police Force’s drive to institutionalise preventive policing by promoting public awareness, fostering community engagement, and strengthening partnerships aimed at tackling crime at its roots.

The publication highlights POCACOV’s sustained advocacy campaigns against cultism, drug abuse, cybercrime, bullying, and other social vices, while documenting the initiative’s interventions in youth development, community sensitisation, and stakeholder collaboration across the country.

It also chronicles the programme’s growing role in promoting positive values among young people through strategic partnerships with schools, civil society organisations, traditional institutions, faith-based groups, and other critical stakeholders committed to building safer communities.

The Nigeria Police Force noted that the launch of the magazine underscores its unwavering commitment to advancing preventive policing through sustained public enlightenment, innovative crime prevention initiatives, and stronger collaboration with citizens.

The Force expressed confidence that the publication will serve as an important platform for documenting successes, sharing best practices, and inspiring greater public participation in efforts to prevent crime and promote peace, security, and national development.
