The operations, conducted by troops of the Armed Forces of Nigeria between October 15 and 22, 2026, also resulted in the recovery of ₦10 million suspected to be ransom, the arrest of five suspects linked to the abduction of prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members in Imo State, and the disruption of several kidnapping and arms-trafficking networks.
