The Honourable Minister of State for Defence, Muhammed Bello Matawalle, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful and all Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Eid El-Adha celebration, calling for unity, peace, and continued support for national development.
In an official signed statement, Dr. Matawalle said Eid El-Adha symbolizes the virtues of sacrifice, patience, devotion, and obedience to Almighty Allah, stressing that the values of the celebration should inspire Nigerians to strengthen national cohesion and mutual understanding.
The Minister urged citizens to continue promoting peace, tolerance, and harmony across the country for the collective progress and stability of Nigeria.
According to the statement, the Federal Government remains committed to safeguarding the nation’s territorial integrity and ensuring the protection of lives and property in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Dr. Matawalle reassured Nigerians of his continued commitment, alongside the Armed Forces and other security agencies, toward sustaining efforts aimed at enhancing national security and combating threats across the country.
He also paid tribute to members of the Armed Forces for their courage, patriotism, and sacrifices in defending the nation and its citizens.
The Minister prayed for Allah to continue blessing Nigeria with enduring peace, security, and prosperity as Muslims across the country celebrate Eid El-Adha.
