The Executive Director of the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre, Auwal Ibrahim Musa Rafsanjani, has extended heartfelt Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world, urging citizens to embrace the values of sacrifice, justice, accountability, and peaceful coexistence.
In an official signed statement, Rafsanjani described Eid-el-Kabir as a significant celebration rooted in obedience, compassion, and shared humanity, noting that the occasion offers an opportunity for reflection on national unity and collective responsibility.
According to the statement, the festival reaffirms enduring principles that are essential for strengthening democratic governance, promoting tolerance, and advancing inclusive national development.
Rafsanjani encouraged Nigerians to remain committed to integrity, mutual understanding, and service to humanity as the country continues to navigate social and economic challenges.
He further emphasized the need for citizens to work together in building a peaceful and united society anchored on accountability and justice.
The civil society leader prayed for continued peace, harmony, and progress in Nigeria as Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Kabir with family members and loved ones.
Rafsanjani currently serves as Head of Transparency International Nigeria, Chairman of Transition Monitoring Group, Board Chairman of Corporate Accountability and Public Participation Africa, and Chairman of the Zero Corruption Coalition.
