The Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Umahi, CON, has congratulated the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, over his success in the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Kano State.
According to an official signed statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Honourable Minister of Works (Media), Francis Nwaze, Senator Umahi described the victory as a demonstration of public confidence and another opportunity for Rt. Hon. Abubakar to continue working closely with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Assembly in driving policies and infrastructure projects geared towards national development and economic growth.
The Minister stated that the massive turnout recorded during the primary election reflected the sustained support and confidence of the people of Kano State in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Jibrin Barau, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, and former Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON.
Senator Umahi further noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda remains a strong pillar for national transformation and sustainable development across the country.
He also congratulated Rt. Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar on what he described as a well-deserved success, expressing confidence in his continued contributions to legislative support for the administration’s development agenda.
