The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to strengthening its technological and operational capabilities through strategic collaboration with indigenous private sector players in the security and defence industry.

The IGP stated this during a working visit to the EIB Group, where he was received by the Chairman of the organisation, Bright Echefu, as part of ongoing efforts aimed at enhancing intelligence gathering, forensic investigation and modern policing operations across the country.

During the visit, the Inspector-General toured major facilities under the EIB Group ecosystem, including EIB Stratoc Limited in Idu, which specialises in surveillance solutions; Poctova, a security uniform production facility; Briech UAS in Kuje, a drone manufacturing company; as well as Giga Forensics in Idu, known for its forensic and interception solutions.

The tour provided the police leadership with firsthand insight into emerging indigenous technologies and innovative security solutions designed to support law enforcement operations and national security architecture.

The visit also highlighted the growing importance of collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the private sector in addressing evolving security threats through advanced technology-driven solutions.

The IGP noted that partnerships of this nature remain critical to improving operational efficiency, boosting investigative capacity, and equipping officers with modern tools required to effectively combat crime and other contemporary security challenges in the country.
