Minister Imaan Commits to Brighter Days for Women, Families and Ministry Staff

The Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has reassured Nigerians especially women, families, and vulnerable groups as well as the dedicated workforce of the Ministry, of brighter days ahead anchored on deliberate, strategic action and renewed commitment to service delivery.

In a statement signed by her Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Mr Jonathan Eze, on Thursday, the minister noted that brighter days are not a distant aspiration; they are the outcome of our deliberate actions and unwavering dedication,”.

She added that the work the ministry is doing today is not merely about making promises for tomorrow; it is about taking concrete, well-considered steps to build a more inclusive, secure, and prosperous Nigeria for all,”.

She emphasized that her leadership is committed to ensuring that every government initiative under her watch translates into real, measurable benefits for women, children, families, and vulnerable persons nationwide.

To this end, the Ministry is driving high-impact programmes designed to promote economic empowerment, strengthen social protection systems, and foster national development.

Speaking on staff welfare, Hon. Sulaiman-Ibrahim assured the Ministry’s workforce of her resolve to entrench a culture of excellence, transparency, accountability, and a conducive working environment.

“Your commitment is the engine of our progress, and together we will build a legacy of service and transformative impact,” she affirmed.

She also highlighted the Ministry’s proactive interventions in distributing relief materials to vulnerable women and families across the country, while restating her zero-tolerance stance on gender-based violence.

The Minister noted that systems are being reinforced to support survivors and guarantee justice.

Looking forward, she announced plans to convene a strategic retreat for all Ministry staff to ensure that policies and programmes are fully aligned with the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“I am confident that through our collective effort, we are laying a firm foundation for a future where every Nigerian woman and child can truly thrive.”
