The Emir of Zazzau, His Highness Mallam Nuhu Bamali, has commended the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for the resilience and dedication it lends to the anti- corruption fight.

He gave the commendation when the Acting Director, Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the EFCC,  Assistant Commander of the EFCC,  ACE I, Bawa Usman Kaltungo led Sectional heads of the Directorate on a familiarisation visit to the Emirate.

The Emir further expressed appreciation to the Commission for consistently identifying with the emirate. “The EFCC has consistently carried the Zazzau Emirate Council along in its activities through collaboration with us and we are very grateful for that. I always emphasize the need to live exemplary life in order to set examples for others to follow, that is why I always caution my subjects to abide by the law while carrying out their activities as no one would be shielded when they err. I reiterate my confidence in the professional way the Commission as a whole carries out its activities,” he said.

Kaltungo in his remarks, expressed delight with the support the Commission has enjoyed over the years from the emirate council and appealed for its sustenance and improvement. “The emirate council has been an amazing host as it has always ensured that the Commission operates without any hitch. We appreciate this and request for its sustenance and even more support.” He concluded.
