In an official signed statement, the Media Information Officer, Headquarters Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, disclosed that the visit, which took place on April 21, 2026, provided an opportunity for the CDSA to receive detailed briefings on ongoing operations within the theatre.
According to the statement, Major General Ilodibia said the purpose of the visit was to gain first-hand insight into the technical operations of the Modular Earth Observation Outpost Team recently deployed to support Operation HADIN KAI, as well as to deepen collaboration between the Defence Space Administration and the Theatre Command.

He also commended troops for their achievements in sustaining stabilisation operations across the theatre, particularly in facilitating the resettlement of internally displaced persons, while extending condolences to families of personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty.
