The Military Pensions Board (MPB) has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing pension administration and welfare services for military retirees through strengthened collaboration with the Nigerian Navy.

This followed a meeting between the Chairman of the Board, Air Vice Marshal Mikail Abdulraheem, and the Director of Veteran Affairs at Naval Headquarters, Rear Admiral R. Taofeeq, held at the Board’s headquarters in Abuja.

According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Squadron Leader Aliyu Mohammed, the meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between both institutions, particularly on issues relating to the welfare and pension administration of naval veterans.

The engagement, chaired by the MPB Chairman, highlighted the importance of closer coordination between the Military Pensions Board and service headquarters to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of pension services to retired personnel.

The Board noted that the collaboration aligns with its ongoing efforts to improve service delivery and uphold the welfare of military veterans across the country.
