The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), is mourning the loss of his mother-in-law, Hajiya Zainab Hussain, who passed away in the early hours of Saturday, 21st June 2025.
Hajiya Hussain, aged 76, was the mother of Hajiya Munira Marwa, wife of the NDLEA Chairman. She died in Abuja following a brief illness, according to a statement released by the family.
In line with Islamic rites, the Janazah (funeral prayer) was scheduled to hold the same day at 2:00pm at the National Mosque, Abuja, with interment immediately after at Gwarinpa Cemetery.
The family has requested prayers for the repose of her soul, asking that Allah (SWT) forgives her shortcomings and grants her eternal peace in Aljannatul Firdaus.
Friends, associates, and well-wishers have continued to extend their condolences to the Marwa family in this moment of grief.
