The National Defence College (NDC) has honoured the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, with the Distinguished Personality Award in recognition of his leadership and efforts towards advancing defence research and innovation.
Aneke was presented with the award at the NDC Course 34 Graduation Dinner and Awards Night held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, in Abuja.
The recognition reflects his contributions to strengthening professional military education and encouraging the use of research and innovation to enhance military capabilities and support Nigeria’s national security objectives.
It also highlights the significance of closer collaboration between the Nigerian Armed Forces and defence research institutions in developing a more professional and adaptive force capable of responding effectively to emerging security challenges.
