The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to stronger international collaboration in policing, security cooperation and capacity development following a high-level engagement with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Nigeria, His Excellency Tomáš Výprachtický.
The meeting took place during a courtesy visit by the Czech envoy to the Force Headquarters in Abuja, where both parties held constructive discussions on issues of mutual interest aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in security and law enforcement.
During the engagement, the Inspector-General of Police and the Czech Ambassador explored avenues for deeper collaboration in the areas of security cooperation, capacity building, professional exchange and knowledge sharing to strengthen policing operations and improve public safety.
IGP Disu appreciated the visit and emphasized the importance of strategic international partnerships in addressing evolving security challenges, while reaffirming the readiness of the Nigeria Police Force to work closely with global partners in advancing professional policing standards and ensuring improved security across the country.
