The Executive Secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, Tolulope Odunaiya, has paid a courtesy visit to the Military Pensions Board in Abuja as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration in pension administration.

Odunaiya, who led a delegation from PTAD to the board’s headquarters, was received by the Chairman of the Military Pensions Board, Mikail Abdulraheem.

According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Military Pensions Board, Squadron Leader Aliyu Mohammed, the PTAD Executive Secretary expressed appreciation to the board’s leadership for the warm reception and for granting her delegation the opportunity to engage with the institution.

During the visit, Odunaiya highlighted the critical role played by PTAD in pension administration across the country and also spoke on the recent pension increments approved by the Federal Government.

She stressed the importance of strengthening collaboration between PTAD and the Military Pensions Board, particularly in areas such as knowledge sharing and institutional engagement aimed at improving efficiency in pension administration and service delivery to retirees.

Responding, the Chairman of the Military Pensions Board, Air Vice Marshal Abdulraheem, thanked the PTAD Executive Secretary and her delegation for the visit and commended the ongoing efforts of PTAD in pension management.

He reaffirmed his belief that every retiree deserves to earn and receive their pension benefits, assuring that the Military Pensions Board will continue to work within its mandate to ensure that all military veterans receive their rightful entitlements.

The chairman also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for their continued support toward improving the welfare of military veterans across the country.
