The Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has congratulated the CEO of EbonyLife Group, Mo Abudu and other distinguished African women who have been recognized among the most influential women globally. 

The list recognises the impact, innovation and achievements of the world’s most influential individuals in 2025.

“Mo Abudu’s inclusion on this year’s list celebrates a dynamic career dedicated to reshaping the global perception of Africa through storytelling, enterprise, and advocacy.” She said.

She further commended Mo Abudu’s groundbreaking work in media and philanthropy, which has cemented her position as a leading figure in African and global media. Her achievements serve as an inspiration to women and girls across the continent.

She also reaffirmed her commitment to supporting women’s empowerment initiatives, promoting equal opportunities, and fostering a culture of inclusivity according to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. 

“We celebrate the success of women like Mo Abudu and others who have broken barriers and defied expectations.”

Mo Abudu’s EbonyLife TV has become a prominent platform for African stories and perspectives.

She urged continued support for initiatives that promote women’s empowerment and leadership development. By working together, we can create a brighter future for women and girls in Nigeria and across Africa.
