The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has assured applicants seeking recruitment into four agencies under the Ministry of Interior that they will not be required to pay for the mandatory Drug Integrity Test (DIT), as the ministry has already covered the cost of the exercise.
The assurance applies to candidates seeking recruitment into the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps as part of the ongoing recruitment process.
According to an official statement signed by the Director, Media and Advocacy, NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, arrangements had been concluded for the conduct of the mandatory tests, with the Ministry of Interior making bulk payment to cover all new intakes.
The agency consequently advised applicants and personnel participating in the exercise not to make any payment to NDLEA officials, designated testing centres or through any other payment channel.
It said candidates would be required to access the NDLEA Drug Integrity Test portal through designated links or access points to be provided on the respective institutional portals of the recruiting agencies.
The portal will enable applicants to complete the necessary registration and documentation before proceeding with the testing process without incurring additional costs.
The NDLEA urged candidates to follow the designated procedure to ensure a seamless and orderly exercise, while reiterating that no individual payment is required at any stage of the testing process.
The agency appreciated the cooperation of the Ministry of Interior and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a smooth, transparent and efficient implementation of the Drug Integrity Test for the new recruits.
