The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu, has paid a surprise visit to police officers sitting for the promotion examination to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), encouraging them to remain calm, confident and focused.
Disu made the surprise visit to the examination venue, where he interacted with the Senior Superintendents of Police (SPs) preparing to take the career-defining examination.
During the interaction, the IGP asked the officers if they had adequately prepared for the examination before arriving at the hall, urging them not to be intimidated by the exercise.
He encouraged the officers to remain composed and confident while answering the examination questions, assuring them that adequate preparation and focus would help them put in their best performance.
The IGP also wished the officers success in the examination, an intervention that elicited smiles and excitement among the candidates.
The visit provided a morale boost for the officers as they continued the examination, with Disu’s words of encouragement reinforcing the importance of confidence and professionalism as they seek advancement to the rank of CSP.
