The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has joined the launch of the Armed Forces of Nigeria Personnel Online Discount Shop, a digital welfare initiative aimed at providing serving and retired military personnel, veterans and their families access to essential goods at preferential prices.
Aneke joined the Special Guest of Honour, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, CON Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Olufemi Oluyede, and other Service Chiefs at the launch held on Thursday, 24 September 2026, at Defence Headquarters, Abuja.
The initiative, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding between Defence Headquarters and Zinox Group, is designed to leverage digital innovation and private-sector partnership to improve access to affordable goods for members of the Armed Forces community.
For the Nigerian Air Force, the scheme complements Aneke’s welfare-focused leadership approach, which places the wellbeing and quality of life of personnel and their families at the centre of efforts to sustain a motivated and mission-ready force.
The online discount platform is expected to strengthen existing welfare measures by providing personnel and their families with a more convenient avenue to access essential products at reduced prices.
