President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Prince Adetokunbo Ademola Ade-John as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Transportation and Mobility.
The appointment, which takes effect from August 27, 2026, is expected to strengthen coordination and policy implementation across key transportation institutions as the administration intensifies efforts to improve Nigeria’s transportation and mobility sector.
Ade-John, a national political organiser and grassroots politician, previously served as Special Assistant to the Minister of Tourism. He is also described as an APC Apex Youth Leader with networks extending across the globe.
In his new capacity, Ade-John is expected to deploy his political and administrative experience in supporting the implementation of the administration’s transportation and mobility agenda.
The appointment is subject to the terms and conditions of service provided under the Certain Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) (Amendment) Act, 2008.
President Tinubu tasked the new appointee with contributing to the advancement of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in the area of transportation and mobility.
