The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the schedule for the physical screening and documentation exercise for successful candidates shortlisted for recruitment into the Service.
According to an official statement signed by Abdullahi Maiwada, Deputy Comptroller of Customs and National Public Relations Officer, the exercise will be held at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College (NCCSC), Gwagwalada, Abuja.
The Service directed all shortlisted candidates to appear for the exercise with the original and photocopies of their required documents, including their National Identification Number (NIN), original Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, as well as educational certificates such as O’Level, ND, HND, Degree and other applicable qualifications.
Candidates are also required to present their Certificate of State of Origin, two recent passport photographs, a completed Guarantor’s Form and NYSC Certificate, where applicable.
The NCS said candidates must wear a white T-shirt, shorts and canvas shoes during the screening exercise.
It stressed that candidates must report only on the date allocated to their respective states and cadres, warning that attendance at the physical screening and documentation exercise is compulsory.
The Service further cautioned that failure to appear as scheduled could lead to disqualification from the recruitment process.
According to the statement, candidates who successfully complete the physical screening and documentation will receive further instructions from the NCS regarding subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
The Customs Service, under the leadership of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adeniyi and his management team, reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a transparent, fair and merit-based recruitment process.
The NCS also urged candidates and members of the public to rely solely on the Service’s official communication channels for authentic information concerning the recruitment exercise.
