The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the release of the final list of successful candidates for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II) in its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
According to an official statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, candidates are to visit the official Nigeria Customs Service website and selected national newspapers to confirm their recruitment status and obtain information on the next stage of the exercise.
The statement disclosed that successful candidates will also receive notifications through their registered email addresses and SMS, containing instructions on the next phase of the recruitment process.
It explained that upon receiving the notification, candidates are required to log on to the designated recruitment portal using either their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
The Service said the portal for uploading the medical certificates will be activated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and candidates are expected to complete the process within one week from the activation date.
In addition to uploading the medical certificate, successful applicants are required to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept the provisional offer of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.
The statement added that candidates who complete the process should await the issuance of their Trainee Identification Number, which will be communicated within one week. Further details on documentation, physical screening, dates, venues and other requirements will be conveyed through official communication channels.
The Nigeria Customs Service urged all successful candidates to strictly adhere to the stipulated guidelines and timelines, warning that failure to comply with any of the requirements could lead to disqualification and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
The Comptroller-General of Customs, on behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, congratulated the successful candidates and expressed confidence that they would contribute to the Service’s commitment to professionalism, integrity and dedicated service to the nation.
