The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has congratulated the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Corps Members on the successful completion of their national service, urging them to remain committed to the ideals of patriotism, national unity and self-reliance as they transition into the next phase of their lives.
In his farewell message to the outgoing corps members, the Director General commended them for their dedication, diligence and invaluable contributions to national development throughout their one-year service.
He noted that through their commitment at their various Places of Primary Assignment, the corps members made meaningful impacts in their host communities and exemplified the spirit of nation-building.
The Director General encouraged them to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, unity and selfless service imbibed during the service year, stressing that these virtues would continue to guide them towards success in their future endeavours.
He also urged the outgoing corps members to remain worthy ambassadors of the Scheme by upholding its ideals wherever they find themselves and ensuring that their conduct reflects honour and responsibility.
The NYSC Director General further encouraged them to leverage the knowledge and practical skills acquired through the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Programme by embracing entrepreneurship, creating employment opportunities and contributing to the nation’s economic growth.
He also charged the corps members to remain steadfast in their belief in one united Nigeria, emphasising that sustainable national development can only be achieved through the collective commitment and contributions of all citizens.
The Director General called on the outgoing corps members to continue working towards a brighter future for the country by promoting unity, hope and determination in their personal and professional pursuits, wishing them success in all their future endeavours.
