The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has felicitated with Muslim faithful across Nigeria on the occasion of the Eid el-Kabir celebration, calling on Nigerians to support the ongoing reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
According to an official signed statement by the Special Adviser to the APC National Chairman on Media and Information Strategy, Abimbola Tooki, Professor Yilwatda described Eid el-Kabir as a sacred festival symbolising faith, sacrifice, obedience, love and devotion to Almighty Allah.
He noted that the celebration remains one of the most significant events in Islam, embodying the virtues of selflessness, compassion, unity, tolerance and complete submission to the will of God, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim.
The APC National Chairman stated that the lessons of sacrifice, patience and perseverance associated with the festival are particularly relevant to Nigeria at a critical stage of national development.
He stressed that collective responsibility and shared commitment remain essential for building a stronger, more united and prosperous nation.
Professor Yilwatda urged Nigerians, especially the Muslim Ummah, to continue promoting peaceful coexistence, national harmony and unity across ethnic, religious and political divides.
He added that the Sallah celebration should further strengthen the spirit of brotherhood, understanding and love among citizens.
The APC Chairman also appealed to Nigerians to sustain support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and its ongoing reforms aimed at repositioning the country for sustainable economic growth, improved infrastructure, enhanced national security, job creation and long-term prosperity.

Professor Yilwatda expressed confidence that under President Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria would emerge stronger, more resilient and economically competitive among nations of the world.
He further urged Nigerians to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to offer prayers for the peace, security, unity and progress of the country, as well as for divine wisdom and guidance for leaders at all levels.
The APC National Chairman also prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the sacrifices, prayers and acts of worship of Muslim faithful and grants families peace, joy, good health and abundant blessings during and after the celebration.
He wished Muslims in Nigeria and across the world a peaceful, prosperous and memorable Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
