The Acting Director, Directorate of Army Public Relations, Colonel Apollonia Anele, has decorated Major Saleh Buba with his new rank of Lieutenant Colonel at a ceremony held at the Army Public Relations Headquarters in Abuja.
At the event, Colonel Anele congratulated the newly promoted officer, commending his dedication and service to the Nigerian Army. She noted that the elevation reflects recognition of his performance and comes with increased responsibility, urging him to uphold discipline, professionalism, and loyalty in the discharge of his duties.
Also speaking, the Director of Defence Information, Major General Samaila Uba, described the promotion as a testament to hard work, discipline, and distinguished service. He encouraged the officer to sustain the core values and high standards expected within the Nigerian Army.
In his response, Lieutenant Colonel Saleh Buba expressed gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, for approving his promotion. He also appreciated the leadership of Colonel Anele and pledged continued commitment and loyalty to duty.
The ceremony was attended by senior military officers, personnel, family members, and invited guests.
