The Speaker of the 9th Assembly of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani, has joined the Muslim Ummah in celebrating Eid-el-Fitr, calling for unity, peaceful coexistence and sustained prayers for Nigeria’s leadership at both federal and state levels.

In a goodwill message released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, Zailani described the end of Ramadan as a significant moment that reinforces the values of compassion, forgiveness and shared humanity.

The Speaker urged residents of Kaduna State and Nigerians at large to embrace the spirit of the season by promoting harmony and inclusivity, noting that unity remains essential for national progress and social stability.

“As we gather to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, let us remember the essence of this occasion—compassion, forgiveness, and shared blessings,” he said, stressing the need for citizens to come together as one people regardless of differences.

Zailani, who observed the Eid prayers at Mamman Jalo Primary School in Rigachikun, used the occasion to connect directly with the community, underscoring his commitment to grassroots engagement.

He also called for continued prayers and support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasising that the success of government policies depends largely on the cooperation and collective efforts of citizens.

“It is imperative that we all lend our voices and support to the efforts of our leaders. Unity and cooperation are essential for the success of policies aimed at improving the lives of our people,” he added.

The Speaker further extended prayers for the administration of Uba Sani, noting that leadership achievements are strengthened by the goodwill, prayers and active support of the people.

He expressed optimism that with sustained unity and collective commitment, Kaduna State would continue on the path of peace, development and prosperity.

Zailani’s Eid message, therefore, resonates as a call for solidarity and shared responsibility, reminding citizens of the enduring values of faith, unity and mutual support in building a better society.
