The Honourable Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, Esq., has lauded North-West youths as the driving force behind the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s triumph in the 2023 presidential election, describing them as the vanguard of the party’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The commendation came during the Meet and Greet of the PCC North-West Youth Mobilization 2023, held on Tuesday, 20th January 2026. Speaking at the event, the Minister praised members of the North-West Youth Mobilization Directorate for their dedication, resilience, and strategic grassroots engagement throughout the campaign period.

Rt. Hon. Goronyo, who served as Director of National Youth Mobilization for the North-West Zone during the election, noted that the region emerged as the highest contributor to the APC’s nationwide success, delivering 2,652,235 votes – approximately 30 percent of the total votes secured by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“This was not an accident. It was the outcome of tireless mobilisation, strategic planning, and an unshakable belief in the Asiwaju/Shettima ticket as the right choice for Nigeria,” the Minister remarked.

He emphasized that the 2023 election victory marked the beginning of a longer journey, urging youths to remain united, vigilant, and committed as the APC builds momentum toward the Renewed Hope Agenda 2027.

Highlighting the Tinubu administration’s focus on infrastructure renewal and economic transformation, Rt. Hon. Goronyo stressed that sustained youth engagement is critical in bridging government policies with grassroots realities. He further encouraged youths across the North-West to register with the APC and take ownership of the party’s future, describing young people as the “heartbeat of the party.”

The Minister also expressed gratitude to the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, members of the Federal Executive Council, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, zonal youth directors, and other distinguished guests for their continued support of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Reaffirming his loyalty to the APC and President Tinubu, Rt. Hon. Goronyo pledged sustained commitment to delivering infrastructure projects that align with the administration’s Promise Kept mantra, ensuring tangible benefits for communities across the North-West.
