The Honourable Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, Esq., on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshiwe Yilwatda, at his office in Abuja, in a move aimed at further strengthening party cohesion and collaboration.
According to an official statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media to the Honourable Minister of State for Works, the visit was part of ongoing efforts to foster unity within the ruling party, deepen cooperation among party leaders, and reaffirm commitment to the ideals and progressive philosophy of the APC.
During the visit, Rt. Hon. Goronyo commended Professor Yilwatda for his leadership of the party and his dedication to consolidating internal cohesion, democratic values, and inclusiveness within the APC. He reiterated his unwavering support for the party’s programmes and policies, noting that these align squarely with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government aimed at national growth, infrastructure development, and improved service delivery to Nigerians.
The Minister of State for Works further emphasized his readiness to continue working with party leadership at all levels to ensure that the APC remains focused, united, and responsive to the aspirations of the Nigerian people.
In his response, the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshiwe Yilwatda, expressed appreciation for the courtesy visit and lauded Rt. Hon. Goronyo for his contributions to national development through his role in government. He encouraged sustained dedication to effective service delivery and the promotion of unity and harmony within the party across all structures.
The meeting ended on a warm and cordial note, with both leaders expressing optimism about the continued growth, stability, and unity of the All Progressives Congress in the overall interest of national development and good governance.
