The Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (ARCN) and the Nigerian Police Force have taken steps to deepen collaboration aimed at enhancing security and fostering peace within communities.

The Executive Secretary of ARCN, Dr. Abubakar Adamu Dabban, on Wednesday received the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Wuye Division, CSP Mary Usman, at his office in Abuja. According to an official statement by Khadijat O. Ameen, Public Relations Officer to the Executive Secretary, the meeting focused on strengthening the relationship between the council and the police in addressing security challenges.

Dr. Dabban commended the efforts of the Nigerian Police in mitigating internal crises and promoting societal peace. He also emphasized the need for professionalism and ethical conduct among officers, while highlighting the importance of inter-agency collaboration in the fight against insecurity.

CSP Mary Usman reiterated the commitment of the Nigerian Police Force to safeguarding lives and properties. She assured that regular patrols and other security measures are in place to protect residents of the Federal Capital Territory and ensure overall national security.
