The permanent secretary of the ministry of defence, Mr. Richard Pheelamilo Pheelangwa, on saturday, 6th december 2025, hosted family members, friends, colleagues and well-wishers as they gathered to celebrate the wedding of his son, Mubarak, and his bride, Kate, at ECWA Goodnews Church, pw kubwa, abuja.
The colourful church ceremony drew dignitaries from within and outside the ministry, who joined the families in witnessing the solemnisation of the couple’s union.
Following the church service, guests proceeded to Evelyn’s Garden (Evelyn’s Hall) in gwarimpa, abuja, where a lively reception was held in honour of the newlyweds. the event featured goodwill messages, celebratory performances and warm expressions of support for the young couple as they began their new journey together.
The occasion was marked by an atmosphere of joy and appreciation, reflecting the strong bonds shared by the families and friends in attendance.
