The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, has extended warm felicitations to the Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Badaru, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday, describing him as a leader whose vision, humility, and patriotism have left indelible marks on Nigeria’s defence and security sector.

In a statement signed by the Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, the CDS, on behalf of officers, men and women of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, lauded the Minister for his steadfast support and wise counsel which, he said, continue to inspire the military in the discharge of its constitutional responsibilities.

General Musa extolled Alhaji Badaru as a patriotic leader whose unwavering commitment to national service has significantly strengthened Nigeria’s defence architecture. He emphasized that under the Minister’s guidance, the Armed Forces have recorded improved synergy among the Services and defence institutions, a development that has enhanced operational effectiveness and boosted the morale of personnel across various theatres of operation.

“The Honourable Minister’s leadership style has become a source of encouragement, not only to the military but to the nation at large,” the CDS noted.

While rejoicing with the Minister on his birthday, General Musa prayed that Almighty God would bless him with many more years of sound health, divine wisdom, and enduring strength to continue serving the nation and humanity with distinction.

On behalf of the Armed Forces, the CDS once again wished Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Badaru a happy 63rd birthday and many happy returns.
