…says their sacrifices are etched in history forever

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, paid a morale-boosting visit to the Nigerian Air Force’s Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI in Maiduguri, Borno State, where he commended the bravery and dedication of personnel fighting insurgency in the North-East.

Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame in an official signed statement disclosed that while addressing officers and airmen on the frontline, the CAS declared, “Your sacrifices are etched in the history of this nation, and in the hearts of millions of Nigerians who sleep safer because of your vigilance.”

Air Marshal Abubakar emphasized that their bravery and resilience in the face of adversity have not gone unnoticed.

His visit, marked by personal interactions with troops, underscored his deep appreciation for their dedication and the vital role airpower plays in neutralizing threats and protecting communities.

Commanders briefed the CAS on recent operational gains, showcasing the strategic value of precision air strikes and close air support. Reaffirming the Nigerian Air Force’s commitment to maintaining dominance in the battlespace, the CAS pledged continued investment in cutting-edge technology to empower frontline units.

Accompanied by senior officers from Headquarters NAF, Air Marshal Abubakar’s visit comes at a critical moment, reinforcing the importance of public support for military operations and spotlighting the human element at the heart of national defence.

The Nigerian Air Force remains steadfast in its mission, guided by leadership, strengthened by unity, and driven by the selfless service of its personnel.
