The Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, fsi, congratulates Her Excellency, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on her well-deserved election as a member of the Steering Committee of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD).

According to the Hon. Minister, her Excellency’s election is a recognition of her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to uplifting women, children, and vulnerable groups across Africa. Through the Renewed Hope Initiative, she has championed economic empowerment, education, and healthcare, aligning with OAFLAD’s mission to drive sustainable social development.

The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs fully supports Her Excellency’s vision and remains committed to advancing initiatives that promote gender equality, women’s empowerment, and family cohesion. Her leadership in OAFLAD will undoubtedly strengthen impactful policies and partnerships that transform lives across the continent.
