The Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), has celebrated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, on his 58th birthday, commending his commitment to national unity and democratic governance.
According to an official statement signed by Leah Katung-Babatunde, Special Assistant (Media) to the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Musa described Yilwatda as a distinguished scholar, visionary administrator and dedicated statesman whose contributions to Nigeria’s political development remain commendable.
The Minister said Yilwatda’s leadership, integrity and dedication to public service had continued to inspire confidence and promote unity, particularly at a time when political stability remains important to the country’s overall development.
“On behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Nigeria, I celebrate an exceptional patriotic leader, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, as he marks his 58th birthday. His insightful leadership, integrity, and selfless service to our nation continue to inspire confidence and unity,” Musa said.
He further commended the APC chairman’s role in fostering political stability and institutional harmony, noting that both were critical to strengthening national security and achieving sustainable development.
Musa expressed optimism that Yilwatda would continue to deploy his experience and leadership qualities in the service of the ruling party and the nation.
He prayed that Almighty God would grant the APC National Chairman sound health, wisdom, courage and long life to continue serving the party, Nigeria and humanity.
