The Federal Commissioner representing Enugu State in the Federal Character Commission, Peter Eze, has congratulated Chief Ikeje Asogwa (IDE) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his victory in the Enugu North Senatorial District by-election, describing the outcome as a clear demonstration of the people’s confidence in the leadership of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.

In a congratulatory message, Eze said the resounding victory recorded by Chief Asogwa reflected the trust and support the people of Enugu North Senatorial District have for the administration of Governor Mbah and its development agenda.

He noted that the election result signals a new era for Enugu State, expressing optimism that the senator-elect would provide effective representation and purposeful leadership for the people of the district.

According to Eze, Chief Asogwa possesses the capacity and commitment required to advance the interests of his constituents and contribute meaningfully to the development of the state and the nation.

The Federal Commissioner further expressed confidence that the APC candidate would justify the confidence reposed in him by the electorate through quality representation, responsive leadership, and dedicated service to the people of Enugu North Senatorial District.

He wished the senator-elect a successful tenure and urged him to remain focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to the people who entrusted him with the mandate.
