Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Nihinloluwa Agoro and her two children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, following a fatal road accident in Fort Bend County.

The fatal incident, which reportedly occurred on Sunday, March 15, 2026, claimed the lives of the victims as they were said to be on their way to church.

In a statement issued by the Commission’s Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dabiri-Erewa described the loss as heartbreaking, noting that such a sudden tragedy is devastating for any family, particularly during what was meant to be a routine journey.

She conveyed her deepest condolences to the Agoro family, praying for the repose of the souls of the deceased and strength for those left behind in this difficult time. The NiDCOM boss also extended her wishes for a speedy recovery to any individuals who sustained injuries in the crash.

Dabiri-Erewa further urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads to help prevent similar tragedies, stressing the importance of safety awareness.

She reaffirmed her solidarity with the Nigerian community in Texas and across the United States, acknowledging the pain and shock caused by the incident while assuring them of the Commission’s support during this period of mourning.
