The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is coordinating emergency response efforts following a fire outbreak at Terminus Market, which reportedly started around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday night.
According to an official statement, the blaze has been brought under control through the combined efforts of NEMA, the Plateau State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), the Federal Fire Service, and the Plateau State Fire Service. Emergency personnel remain on site to manage the situation and ensure public safety.
Authorities have assured that further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
NEMA has urged residents and market stakeholders to remain vigilant and comply with safety directives during the ongoing response.
