Giant Gee Nigeria Limited has announced the rollout of its 2026 capacity-building and professional development training programmes, aimed at strengthening workforce skills, improving institutional efficiency and promoting sustainable economic growth across key sectors.

The Managing Director of Giant Gee Nigeria Limited, Ambassador Augustine Chigbolu, disclosed this in a press brief on the company’s strategic plans for the coming year.

According to him, the company has concluded arrangements with DT2 Italy, a reputable international training and development organisation, for the delivery of the programmes, in collaboration with Vinik Parliamentary Consult.
“These programmes are carefully designed to equip participants with future-ready skills while aligning Nigeria’s public and private institutions with global best practices,” Chigbolu said. “Our partnership with DT2 Italy underscores our commitment to delivering training that is practical, impactful and internationally competitive.”

He explained that the 2026 training cycle would be delivered under two major categories: vocational training programmes and capacity-building programmes for Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
The vocational training programmes will focus on Environmental Sustainability, particularly waste management and recycling; Information Technology, including artificial intelligence simulations and ICT; distribution chain and logistics; as well as online vocational agribusiness training to be delivered in English.
For MDAs, the capacity-building programmes are designed to strengthen governance, accountability and digital transformation. Areas of focus include taxation and tax policy, financial management and audit, and digital government and e-commerce.

Ambassador Chigbolu noted that the collaboration with DT2 Italy and Vinik Parliamentary Consult would ensure the adoption of internationally aligned training standards and practical learning approaches tailored to Nigeria’s development needs.

“By bridging local realities with global expertise, we are positioning organisations and individuals to compete effectively in an increasingly digital and interconnected world,” he added.

Giant Gee Nigeria Limited said further details on programme schedules, participation requirements and implementation timelines would be communicated in due course.
