The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has recorded another major operational success with the execution of a precision Air Interdiction mission against terrorist logistics infrastructure at Dabar Masara, a known terrorist enclave in the Southern Tumbuns, on 14 December 2025.
The operation was carried out by the Air Component of Joint Task Force Operation HADIN KAI, following credible intelligence that revealed the presence of a terrorist workshop and sustained movement of armed elements within the area. The development was disclosed in an official statement signed by the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame.
According to the statement, the operation was preceded by coordinated Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions, which consistently detected repeated terrorist activity within the location. The surveillance also revealed a significant concentration of vehicles carefully concealed under vegetation, confirming Dabar Masara as an active terrorist logistics hub supporting ongoing insurgent operations in the region.
On the day of the strike, further ISR sorties validated earlier intelligence, as terrorists were observed manoeuvring within the area and around the identified vehicles. Following positive identification of the targets and in strict compliance with established Rules of Engagement, NAF strike assets engaged the location with precision.
Post-operation Battle Damage Assessment confirmed the destruction of the concealed vehicles and the neutralisation of terrorist elements at the site, effectively disrupting their logistics and operational capabilities.
The successful execution of the mission, the NAF noted, highlights its sustained commitment to intelligence-driven and highly precise air operations aimed at degrading terrorist networks. It also underscores the Air Force’s continued support to joint military efforts to restore security and stability across terrorism-affected regions of the country.
