The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the commencement of the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course, scheduled to begin on Wednesday, 19th November 2025, across all orientation camps in Nigeria. The program, a key stage in the NYSC scheme, is designed to prepare newly mobilized graduates for their year of national service.

In an official statement, Caroline Embu, Director of Information and Public Relations at NYSC, disclosed that registration for all Corps Members will take place from Wednesday, 19th November to midnight of Friday, 21st November 2025. She emphasized that the swearing-in ceremony, which formally inducts the Corps Members into the service year, is slated for Friday, 21st November.

The Orientation Course will run for approximately three weeks, culminating in the closing ceremony on Tuesday, 9th December 2025, marking the end of the training and preparation phase before deployment to primary assignments across the country.

In his message to the prospective Corps Members, Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, extended wishes for a safe journey to the orientation camps. He also advised Corps Members against traveling at night, highlighting the importance of safety and caution during transit to their assigned camps.

The NYSC Orientation Course remains a pivotal phase in the National Youth Service, equipping fresh graduates with skills, values, and experiences that foster national unity, civic responsibility, and leadership development. As the 2025 Batch ‘C’ embarks on this journey, the NYSC reiterates its commitment to a safe, well-coordinated, and impactful service year for all participants.
