Napoli manager Antonio Conte has dropped Victor Osimhen from his squad to play Egnatia in a pre-season friendly on Sunday evening.

Osimhen has been left out, with his future at the Serie A club still uncertain.

Conte is waiting for the Super Eagles striker to leave the club so he can replace him with Romelu Lukaku.

in a post on X, football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano wrote: “Victor Osimhen, not even on the bench for Napoli tonight as plan of both parties remains clear.

“Osimhen wants to leave, Napoli want to bring in Lukaku.

“Talks with PSG are in stand-by since Monday at current conditions.

“Chelsea like Osimhen but won’t pay the clause.”
