The anticipation and excitement surrounding Kylian Mbappé’s move to Real Madrid have reached unprecedented levels, with fans worldwide eagerly seeking to secure the new star’s jersey. The official launch of the Mbappé Real Madrid kit today resulted in an overwhelming surge of orders on the club’s official website, far surpassing initial expectations and projections.

Within hours of the kit’s release, the demand became so intense that Real Madrid was forced to issue a statement addressing the unforeseen delays. The statement reads:

“Due to current high demand, items in this collection may experience a delay in delivery of up to 4-6 additional weeks, regardless of the shipping method selected. This delay will affect both orders exclusive to the Mbappé collection and those that combine products from the Mbappé collection with other products from the online store.”

This announcement highlights the sheer volume of orders for Mbappé’s shirt, with fans seemingly undeterred by the extended wait times. In contrast, the wait time for other players’ shirts remains much shorter, indicating the extraordinary demand specifically for Mbappé’s merchandise.

The French superstar will be unveiled at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu on July 16th at noon, in what promises to be a packed and celebratory event.
