The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, CON, has felicitated the Special Adviser to the President on Policy Coordination and Head of the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit, Hadiza Bala Usman, on the occasion of her 50th birthday, describing the milestone as a celebration of excellence, dedication and impactful public service.

In an official signed statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Segun Imohiosen, the SGF noted that Hadiza Bala Usman’s attainment of the golden jubilee marked a significant point in a remarkable professional journey spanning nearly three decades. He described her career as one defined by consistency, hard work and a strong commitment to results-oriented leadership.

Senator Akume acknowledged her notable contributions to politics and public policy, highlighting her active and impactful role in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. According to him, her current responsibilities as Special Adviser on Policy Coordination and Head of the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit have further underscored her capacity for effective leadership, as she continues to drive seamless policy alignment, foster cross-government collaboration and maintain a sharp focus on delivering on the administration’s mandate.

The SGF commended her for consistently distinguishing herself through diligence and professionalism, noting that her work has contributed significantly to strengthening governance processes and ensuring measurable outcomes across key sectors of government.

As she marks her 50th birthday, Senator Akume wished Hadiza Bala Usman continued good health, renewed strength and greater accomplishments in her service to the nation. He also described her as a source of inspiration to women, young people and emerging leaders in Nigeria and beyond, urging her to sustain her commitment to excellence and national development.
