A tragic accident in the early hours of Tuesday claimed two lives along the Sani Abacha Expressway in Wuse, Abuja, after the bridge. According to an official signed statement by the Head, Public Affairs of the Federal Emergency Management Department (FEMD), Nkechi Isa, the crash involved a Mercedes Benz 4Matic GL550 with registration number RBC-95DJ and a HOWO truck tipper belonging to Big-Dee Company from Nasarawa State.

The incident occurred at about 1am when the Mercedes Benz reportedly ran into the rear of the truck, which was fully loaded with fine stones. Isa confirmed that the driver of the Mercedes Benz and the lone female passenger in the vehicle died on the spot.
