Officials of the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Office of the National Security Adviser, on Tuesday hosted a delegation from the United States Department of State in Abuja as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral collaboration in counter-terrorism operations.

The meeting, which focused on enhancing intelligence sharing, capacity building and strategic partnerships, provided both sides an opportunity to review existing programmes and explore new areas of cooperation aimed at tackling emerging security threats.

NCTC officials and the visiting US delegation later posed for a group photograph, reaffirming their shared commitment to improving joint counter-terrorism efforts and promoting regional and global security.
