The Tukur Yusuf Buratai Humanity Care Foundation and the Tukur & Tukur Foundation, in collaboration with the Southern Kaduna AIDS Foundation (SKAID), have announced plans to conduct a comprehensive Free Medical Outreach, Eye Screening, and ENT treatment in honour of the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, OFR.
According to a statement signed by the Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, the humanitarian programme is scheduled to take place at the Primary Health Care Centre, Mabuhu Zonzon, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State. It will hold over two days, from Thursday, 4th September to Friday, 5th September 2025, commencing daily at 9:00 a.m.
The outreach is specifically designed to deliver much-needed healthcare services to members of the community and will feature free medical consultations, free treatments, and distribution of free drugs to beneficiaries. In addition, eye screening and care will be provided alongside specialized Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) treatment.
“The organisers kindly call on members of the public to inform their kinsmen, friends, and relations, especially those with health challenges, so they can benefit from this humanitarian exercise,” Brigadier General Gusau stated.
He further noted that the initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of the organisers to improving access to healthcare and enhancing the well-being of underserved communities, while also symbolising the people-centric leadership style of the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa.
