The President of the Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA), Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa, alongside other prominent members of the association, on Saturday, 17 May 2025, joined an array of influential Nigerian women at the WODDI Inspiring Woman Summit 2025, held in Abuja.

The event, themed “Bold Moves, Boundless Impact”, was convened to celebrate women’s achievements, encourage cross-sector collaboration, and amplify voices committed to driving positive societal change. It brought together a distinguished gathering of women leaders, professionals, and changemakers from across the country.

The summit featured thought-provoking keynote addresses, panel discussions, and networking engagements aimed at empowering women and girls to reach their full potential through mentorship, advocacy, and shared experiences.

The wife of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Hajia Nana Shettima, who graced the occasion as Special Guest of Honour, delivered an uplifting message that resonated deeply with attendees. “To every woman here today, I want you to know that your strength is not just in your resilience, but in your ability to uplift others. Let us continue to support, inspire, and empower one another, because together, we can achieve greatness,” she stated.

In her closing remarks, the Chief Host and founder of WODDI (Women of Divine Destiny Initiative), Her Excellency Zinariya Nneoma Nkechi Richard Okorocha, expressed profound gratitude to the dignitaries, guest speakers, and participants for their invaluable contributions to the summit’s success. She emphasized the need for continued unity and solidarity among women, saying, “Let us continue to uplift and support one another and work towards creating a brighter future for all.”

The presence of Mrs Oghogho Gwabin Musa and the DEPOWA delegation underscored the association’s ongoing commitment to promoting the welfare and empowerment of women, particularly those within the military and law enforcement community.

Highlights of the event included keynote lectures from accomplished speakers across diverse fields, interactive sessions, and a series of commemorative group photographs that captured the spirit of the summit.

The 2025 WODDI Inspiring Woman Summit stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and visionary leadership in shaping a more inclusive and empowered society.
