The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has refuted media reports alleging that it has acknowledged new persons as the National Chairman and National Secretary of the Labour Party (LP), or reinstated an individual as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a statement issued on Thursday, Mr. Rotimi Oyekanmi, Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, described the reports as false and misleading.
