NSCDC arrests suspected Rail Vandal, Driver, Recover Exhibits In Kaduna

As part of his commitment to ensure safety of lives, property and National Critical Assets and Infrastructure, the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Kaduna State Command, CC Nuhu Bello Muhammadu Dansadau said its  personnel have arrested a rail vandal and his driver in Gwagwada community, Chikun Local Government Areas of Kaduna State

“Our personnel in joint operation with the Nigeria Army (Fasan Yamman) along Abuja- Kaduna Highway swing into action and got the suspects arrested.”

The Commandant who said the corps have taken into custody, the  suspects; Mr. Tasiu Mohammed, 33 years old, and his driver Jamilu Sanusi 39 years old and the exhibits recovered, said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.

He further warned all criminals across the state to repent from their dubious character or face the consequences of their actions.

The Commandant, while appealing to residents in the state to always provide information about criminals within their environment, noted that, the personnel of the corps in the state, would not give breathing space to criminals across the 23 Local Government Areas of the state and its environs until, they repent, or arrested to face the outcome of their nefarious attitude. 

The Commandant commended the Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani for providing the corps necessary assistance to carry out their daily routine duties.

The Commandant, while assuring residents of the state of protection of lives, property, including Critical National Assets and Infrastructure, further commended the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD, mni, Ofr for his unwavering support and commitment aimed at protecting lives, property and Critical National Assets and Infrastructure across the state
