Africa’s richest man and President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has confirmed his attendance at the 2026 World Public Relations Forum (WPRF), scheduled to take place in Abuja from November 15 to 21, 2026.
Dangote gave the confirmation when he received the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, Prof. Justin Green, President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr. Ike Neliaku, and a delegation from the Institute in audience on Friday.
During the meeting, Dangote acknowledged the strategic importance of the Forum to Nigeria and Africa, underscoring the relevance of effective public relations and strategic communication to the continent’s development and global engagement.
The WPRF, which is expected to attract leading public relations and communication professionals from across the world, will provide a platform for discussions on the evolving role of strategic communication, reputation management and public relations in shaping institutions, businesses and societies.
The confirmation of Dangote’s participation is expected to further highlight the significance of Nigeria’s hosting of the global gathering and its potential to strengthen the country’s visibility within the international public relations and communication community.
