The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has called on stakeholders and community leaders in Idemili North to provide information to help identify the perpetrators of a suspected murder.
A pregnant woman’s body was found hanging from a cashew tree along the Uke/Ideani road, and the police have launched a thorough investigation into the incident. T
he CP described the incident as unfortunate and a stark example of man’s inhumanity to man.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command in an official signed statement disclosed that the police have recovered the body and taken it to the mortuary, and they are seeking the public’s help to identify the deceased.
The command has promised to communicate further developments as the investigation unfolds, with the ultimate goal of bringing the perpetrators to justice.
